By accessing or using MyStoryWorld.app ("Platform", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you are using the Platform on behalf of a child, you confirm that you are a parent or legal guardian and accept full responsibility for the child's use.
2. Description of Service
MyStoryWorld.app provides tools to generate personalised children's content, including:
- AI-generated stories
- AI-generated images
- Digital products (e.g. PDF, EPUB)
- Printed products via third-party providers
Outputs are generated using artificial intelligence and may vary in quality, accuracy, and style.
3. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- All content you upload (including images, names, and prompts)
- Ensuring you have the legal right to use any uploaded content
- The use, distribution, or sharing of generated outputs
You confirm that:
- You own or have permission to use all content you upload.
- We do not verify ownership of user-submitted content and accept no responsibility for claims arising from it.
4. Intellectual Property & License
a) Your Content
You retain ownership of content you upload.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use this content solely to:
- operate the Platform
- generate and deliver products
b) Generated Content
Upon purchase, you are granted a:
personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the generated content.
This license permits:
- personal use
- gifting
- non-commercial sharing
This license does not permit:
- resale or commercial exploitation
- bulk reproduction
- use outside permitted personal purposes
c) Platform Rights
All rights in the Platform, including:
- software
- templates
- generation systems
remain the property of MyStoryWorld.app.
Generated outputs may not be unique and may resemble other content.
d) Asset Access Limitations
Certain assets (including high-resolution files, print-ready formats, or source materials) may only be available through the Platform.
5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Content is generated using artificial intelligence and:
- may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unpredictable
- may contain similarities to existing works
- is not guaranteed to be unique
We are not responsible for:
- how content is interpreted or used
- any perceived resemblance to third-party content
6. Payments, Pricing & Credits
- All prices are listed in AUD
- Pricing may change at any time
Where credits are used:
- credits have no cash value
- credits are non-refundable
All purchases are final once:
- content generation has started, or
- digital products have been delivered
7. Refund Policy
Refunds are not provided except where required by law.
No refunds will be issued once:
- story or image generation has commenced
- digital files have been delivered
Refunds may be considered where:
- a technical failure prevents delivery of the purchased product
8. Print-on-Demand Services
Printed products are fulfilled by third-party providers (e.g. Lulu, Gelato).
We are not responsible for:
- print quality issues
- shipping delays
- damaged goods
- production errors by third parties
All print-related issues must be directed to the relevant provider.
9. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Platform to:
- upload content you do not have rights to use
- generate or replicate copyrighted characters or material without permission
- create unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate content
- misuse or attempt to exploit the Platform
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
10. Accounts & Access
We may:
- suspend or terminate access
- remove content
where users:
- breach these Terms
- engage in misuse or fraudulent activity
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising from use of the Platform or generated content
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to:
- the total amount paid by you for the relevant product or service
We are not liable for:
- indirect or consequential loss
- loss of profits, data, or opportunity
- dissatisfaction with generated content
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under applicable consumer protection laws, including the Australian Consumer Law.
12. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to Service
We may:
- modify or discontinue features
- change pricing
- update functionality
at any time without prior notice.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
